The Baha play mat is the first product by Baby Joon. It is a play mat that was inspired by the aesthetics of Persian rugs.
Our Baha Mat is a minimalist take on a classic persian rug design. It has a large medallion and an ornate border, inspired by traditional Heriz rugs.
Every Baby Joon play mat is made entirely of 100% sustainable and biodegradable TPU foam and is a luxury eco-friendly product. These plush mats have two reversible designs that pay homage to a traditional oriental carpet.
The thick shock-absorbent cushioning provides a safety shield and comfort for tummy time support of our little explorers while they learn to crawl, walk, and play – all without detracting from the beauty of your current home décor.

CARE BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging and keep away from little ones
- Straps included are reusable, do not cut or discard
- Roll the play mat in the reverse direction a few times to reduce creases and curls, and then lay flat. Due to the nature of the soft eco-friendly TPU foam they may take several weeks to settle and disappear
- Wipe clean with a soft cloth & warm water (avoid harsh chemicals, oils and alcohol based solutions which may cause discolouration).
TPU PADDED PLAY MATS: DAILY CARE
- Wipe down each day with a damp cloth and soapy warm water. TPU play mats are water-resistant but not fully water-proof, so avoid soaking it with water, ie. outside with a hose
- Avoid cleaning with harsh chemicals, oils, baby wipes and alcohol based solutions which may cause discolouration
- Avoid heat and steam cleaning
- Avoid direct sunlight for too long which may cause discolouration
- Avoid wearing shoes, sharp objectives, pens and permanent markers, heavy furniture
- Avoid use by furry friends as any damage is not covered under warranty.
- Important note: over time some discolouration may occur due to the nature of the non-toxic material
What is TPU?
TPU is a completely inert material and does not off-gas VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which is why it has become a safe material of choice for playmats and have been recommended by discerning moms everywhere.
